The building
In Europa-Allee 2, Germany's tallest residential tower with a target height of 172 m providing exclusive living space between the banking district, Westend and Europaviertel is being built.
The Grand Tower will house 401 apartments and penthouses from 41 to 300 m² and a 1000 m² large rooftop garden.
The implementation
Two WT 420 e.tronic cranes grow with the building up to a final height of 190 and 203 m. At the current height, one active stay secures each tower, one at 86 m and the other at 84 m. The new tower system allows for significantly higher tower heights with the same number of guying fixtures.
